How does the eStore work?

The Habitat Greater Vancouver eStore is an online sales floor of Items that are typically found within one of the ReStores. ReStores sell donated home decor & building supplies both new and used. The online store is a way to ensure that you get an item before someone else does - you can now shop the best ReStore deals from the comfort of your home!

FAQ

What happens once I buy something?

When you buy an Item from Habitat for Humanity you will receive an email confirmation. In the next 2 business days you will receive a email notification that your order is ready for pick-up. If your item is unavailable, your order will be cancelled and refunded to your payment method.  

Where do I pick up my purchased items?
Please pickup items from the store entrance.
Bring your order confirmation (email or printed) and show the staff member at the front of the store. Make sure you are able to lift the item(s) into your vehicle as staff will not be able to assist you. The items will not be wrapped or prepared for pickup, please bring your own materials/tools.
Are the items new or used? What is the condition?

Items are a mix of new and gently used products. Please review the pictures and take note of any dame listed in the comments. Scratches and light wear may be present on some items. 

We will not refund or discount the already reduced priced items due to light wear  All items are on display at the Restore listed in the description, if concerned about the condition  we recommend emailing socialmedia@habitatgv.ca

What if I cannot find what I want online?

Then we suggest visiting one of our five ReStore locations in the greater Vancouver area today!

Light Wear = Scratches, discoloration, scuffs, small chips, minor defects, hairline cracks, and small rips in fabric are all  considered light wear and may not be visible in the pictures of the products on the website. 

  

Refund/Exchange Policy
 

Pickup Orders

If you wish to cancel your pickup order prior to pickup please email socialmedia@habitatgv.ca with your order number and cancellation reason. Pickup order refunds will be issued to the original method of payment in 7-14 business days.

Delivery Orders

If you wish to cancel your delivery order please email socialmedia@habitatgv.ca with your order number and cancellation reason. A refund will be issued to the original method of payment in 7-14 business days if the item has not shipped. Once an order is fulfilled and leaves our warehouse a refund cannot be issued.

 

Returns

Pickup Orders

If you are not satisfied with your item, please email socialmedia@habitatgv.ca with your order number and exchange reason within 7 days of pickup. You will be asked to return the item to the  store where you picked it up. within 7 days for a store credit. Returned items must be in resale condition. After 7 days all sales are final and a credit is not available.

Delivery Orders

If you are not satisfied with your item, please email socialmedia@habitatgv.ca with your order number and exchange reason within 7 days of receiving your order. The customer is responsible for returning the item to Habitat for Humanity via courier or in-person. A store credit is available for returned product. Shipping and handling is non-refundable.

 

Price Adjustments

We offer a one-time price adjustment if an item is marked down within 7 days of the date on your purchase, excluding promotions. To obtain a price adjustment on an online purchase, please email socialmedia@habitatgv.ca within the 7 day window. Please include your order number in your email message. If you are within the deadline, we'll refund you the difference in your original form of payment. Price adjustments will not be honoured for online or in-store promotions following the regular price purchase. Examples of price adjustment exclusions includes monthly 30% off sale (or greater), category specific sales, or loyalty rewards. See the offer associated with the specific promotion for details. A price adjustment for an online purchase will not be made in a physical Habitat for Humanity ReStore. Adjustments are only available by contacting us via email. We will not make price adjustments on online purchases for clearance items. Sorry, there are no returns or exchanges on final sale merchandise, either online or in stores.

We do our best to show any imperfections. We received most goods from cancelled and returned orders, so there is a possibility thru shipping and handling that items will have some scratching and or wear.
