How does the E-store work?

The Habitat Greater Vancouver E-store is an online sales floor of Items that are typically found within one of the ReStores. The ReStore's sell donated home decor & building supplies both new and used. The Online store is a way to ensure that you get an item before someone else does, you can now shop the best ReStore deals from the comfort of your home!



What happens once I buy something?

When you buy an Item from the habitatgv.shop  you will receive an email confirmation. Then within 48 hours  you will be contacted and notified that your order is ready for pick-up. If we have already sold out of the item we will contact you right away and refund to your card.

Where do I pick up my purchased items?

Please come to the Langley ReStore 20104 Logan Ave to pick up your items between 10AM-4PM Monday to Saturday. Alternatively you can arrange for a pickup at our Burnaby store for pick-up at 7977 Enterprise Street (may take an additional 1-2 business days if inventory is stored in langley)

What are the delivery options?

We now offer Curb-side delivery service!  if your residence or business is in the Greater Vancouver area you most likely are elgible! Select a date, and within 48 hours we will send an email to confirm that the delivery is approved for the date you selected. You must be available between 9:30AM - 5PM on the selected day. Diamond Delivery will call 15 minutes before arrival.

Please note: The delivery team will not enter your residence, be prepared to move the Item yourself. 

If you prefer to hire your own delivery team, perhaps one with in home service or availability on saturdays, then select in store pick-up /arrange own delivery and we will hold the item for 7 days for you to arrange a pickup


What If i change my mind before I pickup the item or 48 hours before the delivery time?

You can cancel the order and be refunded the full amount to your credit card as long as you have not picked up the package or cancelled the delivery within 48 hours of the selected slot.

What If i change my mind after i have received the item? 

After taking the item out of the store or within 48 hours of the delivery if you are unsatisfied with your purchase you cannot receive a credit card refund under any conditions.

If you choose to return the item within 7 days of receiving the item you may be eligible for a non-expiring ReStore credit depending on the condition of your order. To receive the credit you must email mmcdonald@habitatgv.ca immediately within the 7 day period and once approved organize transport of your items back to the Restore at your own cost.

This credit will be issued based on the price of the item before shipping and handling, we cannot refund shipping costs. Please understand that Habitat for Humanity is a charity and we are trying to raise funds to support lower-income families in Vancouver.

Are the items new or used? What is the condition?

The majority of items on the E-Store are new items, that have been taken out of manufacturer packaging and set on display. We received most goods from cancelled and returned orders, so there is a possibility thru shipping and handling that items will have some scratching and or wear. We will not refund or discount the already reduced priced items due to light wear. All items are on display at the Restore listed in the description, if concerned about the condition  we recommend calling /visiting the store for more information or messaging the site

What if I cannot find what I want online?

Then we suggest visiting one of our four ReStore locations in the greater Vancouver area today! Or visit our site next week for updated items!
